Inside Temptation occurs as symphonic metal band with gothic metal influences from the Netherlands, formed by guitarist Robert Westerholt in 1996.

Biography
It signed the locate DSFA Records less than two months fallowing existence founded, & within April the following season, it freed their number 1 album, Enter. Within November they made the deuce week tour around Germany and Austria, before it freed a EP The Dance in 1998.

1999 was a slow month for Inside Temptation, however when finishing their studies within December 2000, they freed the recently album entitled Mother Earth. the album was a vast profits, & the band played for a heavy total of fans at numerous large festivals and sold-out concert halls. 2 singles followed; My Farewell & Ice Queen.

Their definite breakthrough come around 2002, when their individual Ice Queen reached #3 in the Netherlands and #1 in Belgium. Mother Earth reportedly sold more than 350,000 copies inside Europe & reached triple platinum status around the Netherlands, and gold status in Belgium.

Around each countries it received a TMF/MTV Awards. A band played at a major festivals in the Benelux (Ozzfest, Lowlands, Dynamo, Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop and Parkpop), when well as inside Germany (Rock im Park, Bizarre and Summerbreeze). Inside France, Within Temptation toured Paris, Lyon, Lille, Bordeaux and Toulon – all sold-out.

Their third album, The Silent Force, was released in November 15th 2004 and instantly became a hit throughout Europe. Their 1st only, Have The Ground, standard extensive radio play, & a album itself went Gold in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium within two months of its release.
